Henny H. Billett

Henny H. Billett, MD is a Clinical Professor of Medicine and Pathology, and Chief of the Division of Hematology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine since 2012. She holds academic appointments in three departments: Oncology (Hematology), Medicine (Oncology and Hematology), and Pathology. Her roles include clinical hematology leadership and translational research.

Dr. Billett's education includes a BA from University of Pennsylvania (cum laude), MD from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and MSc from London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. She completed residency training at Montefiore Medical Center and held a Senior House Officer position at St. Bartholomew's Hospital in London.

Her research focuses on thrombosis epidemiology, sickle cell disease complications, and pregnancy-related hemostatic disorders. Key projects include:
