Prof. Henning Hillmann holds the Chair of Economic and Organizational Sociology at the University of Mannheim and is a faculty member of the Mannheim Center for European Social Research (MZES). He earned his Ph.D. and M.Phil. in Sociology from Columbia University and an M.A. (Diplom) in Social Sciences from Humboldt University Berlin. Previously, he served as Assistant Professor of Sociology at Stanford University (2004–2010). His research focuses on economic sociology, organizational theory, and institutional analysis.
