Henning Fjørtoft

Henning Fjørtoft is a Professor of Norwegian subject didactics at NTNU's National Center for Writing Education and Writing Research. His work bridges educational policy, teacher training, and international research collaboration. He holds a PhD in Nordic literature from NTNU and has extensive experience in primary, secondary, and vocational education. Currently leads the NFR-funded 'Going gradeless' project (2020-2025) and chairs the editorial board of the Nordic Journal of Education and Practice.
