Dr. Henning Döscher serves as Project Manager and Senior Researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI in Karlsruhe, Germany, specializing in innovation systems for advanced materials and industrial technologies.
His research spans semiconductor physics, solar energy conversion, and 2D material applications, with particular focus on graphene industrialization pathways. Through the Graphene Flagship Project, he coordinates global technology roadmap development using the 3I (innovation interface investigation) framework to analyze value chains for water purification and other applications.
Key contributions include peer-reviewed publications on heteroepitaxy, photoelectrochemistry, and diffusion dynamics of emerging technologies. His work bridges academic research with industrial implementation through national and international collaborative projects.
