Hendrike Werwigk serves as a Researcher at the Chair of Strategic Management, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship within the School of Business, Economics and Information Systems at the University of Passau since November 2017. She teaches core courses including Managerial Problem Solving and Communication, and Theory and Methods in Strategy, Leadership, and Innovation Research.
Her academic credentials comprise a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in International Cultural and Business Studies, complemented by a Master of Science in Business Administration.
Research focuses on Women in top management, examining gender dynamics in executive roles; Organizational cover-up, analyzing institutional concealment mechanisms; and Non-governmental organizations (NGOs), investigating their governance structures. These intersect business strategy with socio-political frameworks.
Prior academic experience includes positions at the Chair of Modern and Contemporary History of Eastern Europe and its Cultures and the Chair of Technology, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship during her studies.
