Hemant Kumar Bid is an Adjunct Professor at the School for Professional Studies, Saint Louis University. His academic background includes an M.S. in Biochemistry from Dr R M L Avadh University (2001), a Ph.D. in Medical Biochemistry from CSJMMU/Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (2006), and an M.S. in Pharmacology from The Ohio State University (2019).
His research focuses on Cannabis Research and Cannabis Testing, alongside extensive work in cancer biology and tumor angiogenesis. Key areas include BET inhibitors, STAT3 signaling pathways, and drug resistance mechanisms in pediatric cancers.
Notable contributions include studies on tumor angiogenesis suppression in sarcoma and neuroblastoma models. His publications span journals like Molecular Cancer Therapeutics and Cancer Research.
