Helmut Butzkueven is a Professor and Head of the Department of Neuroscience at Monash University, Australia. He holds the Van Cleef Roet Chair of Neuroscience and serves as Director of Neurology at Alfred Health. His research focuses on Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and neuroimmunology, particularly leveraging large-scale registry data and clinical MRI to optimize MS therapies. He leads the MSBase Foundation managing a global MS cohort study with 70,000+ patients across 36 countries.
