Associate Professor Anneke van der Walt is an academic neurologist specializing in multiple sclerosis (MS) and neuroimmunology at Monash University's School of Translational Medicine. She leads the MS and Neuro-ophthalmology Research Group, focusing on cerebellar dysfunction, cognitive impairment in MS, and digital biomarkers. With over $17.6 million in competitive grants, her work has been cited over 1,800 times and includes 162 peer-reviewed publications. Her clinical roles include heading the MSNI Unit and Neuro-ophthalmology Service at Alfred Health, Melbourne.
