Helena Rodilla

Helena Rodilla is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering (E2) at Chalmers University of Technology, specializing in Terahertz and Millimeter Wave Technology. She holds a B.S. and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Salamanca, completed in 2006 and 2010, respectively. Her research focuses on advancing terahertz technology for life science applications, semiconductor device physics, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. She has contributed significantly to the development of THz sensing techniques for non-destructive material analysis, powder dynamics monitoring, and pharmaceutical quality control. Her work also includes studies on cryogenic low-noise InP HEMTs and Monte Carlo simulations for semiconductor device behavior. Dr. Rodilla leads projects funded by organizations like the Swedish Research Council (VR) and the European Commission, emphasizing interdisciplinary collaborations in bioengineering and electronics.
