Dr Helen Neilens is a Senior Trial Manager at the Peninsula Clinical Trials Unit (PenCTU) within the Peninsula Medical School (Faculty of Health) at the University of Plymouth. She holds a PhD in Psychology and has qualifications including a Postgraduate Diploma in Research Methods and Statistics, BSc (Hons) Psychology, Nurse qualification, and a Diploma in Innovation and Change Management.
Her research focuses on clinical trials methodology, behavioral interventions, palliative care, and psychological processes. Notable work includes developing group-based interventions for obesity management and exploring oral care experiences in palliative care settings.
