Helen Bostock Lyman

Helen Bostock Lyman is a Professor and Deputy Head of School at the School of the Environment, University of Queensland. Her research focuses on reconstructing ocean circulation and global climate relationships using stable isotopes, geochemical tracers, sedimentology, and microfossils. Key areas include the Great Barrier Reef, Antarctic Margin dynamics, marine sediment transport, ocean acidification, and paleoseismicity. She has led multiple research voyages in the southwest Pacific and Southern Ocean.

Dr. Bostock holds a PhD from the Australian National University and contributes to understanding carbon cycle changes and anthropogenic CO₂ impacts. She is available for research supervision and serves as a media expert in oceanography and climate science.
