Prof. Dr. (interim) Heike Oevermann is a faculty member at the Otto-Friedrich Universität Bamberg, where she teaches Heritage conservation. With over a decade of experience in researching industrial and urban heritage, her work focuses on the intersection of heritage conservation, architectural history, and urban planning. She actively lectures at universities in Berlin, Weimar, and across Europe and is currently leading a project funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, examining historic textile mills.
