Heidi Woelbern

Dr. Heidi Woelbern serves as Professor of Biology at Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU), where she has taught since 2008. Her instructional portfolio includes core courses such as Introduction to Biotechnology, Cell Biology and Biochemistry, Microbiology of Infectious Diseases, Genetics, and Perspectives on Science.

Her academic credentials feature a Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles, complemented by dual bachelor's degrees earned Magna Cum Laude from Westmont College: a B.S. in Chemistry and a B.A. in Religious Studies.
