Heidi Howat Thompson serves as the James E. and Betty M. Phillips Professor of Professional Practice at Louisiana State University's Law Center, where she has taught Legal Research, Writing, and Analysis to first-year law students since August 2001.
Her academic foundation includes a J.D. from LSU Law Center (1993) where she graduated Order of the Coif and served on the Louisiana Law Review, and a B.S. from Louisiana State University (1990).
