Heidi Grasswick is the George Nye and Anne Walker Boardman Professor of Mental and Moral Science in Middlebury College's Philosophy Department. She holds affiliations with the Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies Program and the Environmental Studies Program. Her research focuses on feminist epistemology, social epistemology, and the ethical responsibilities of knowledge-seeking. She earned her Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Minnesota, alongside a B.A. (Honors in Philosophy) from the University of Victoria and an M.A. from Dalhousie University. She has served as Philosophy Department Chair and held leadership roles in academic organizations like Hypatia journal and the Canadian Society for Women in Philosophy.
