Jamie Sewell is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Gender Studies at the University of Victoria. They hold a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Waterloo (2022). Their research focuses on feminist epistemologies, epistemologies of ignorance, and social/political philosophy, particularly examining how systems of oppression shape knowledge and moral responsibility. Sewell is also engaged with feminist philosophy of law and issues around polyamory and marriage law.
