Dahlsveen actively secures competitive research funding, currently leading the EU project 'Common ground, common future' investigating narrative mechanisms in conflict polarization. She previously participated in two EU storytelling initiatives and co-owns Skaldskur AS, demonstrating entrepreneurial engagement with her research.
She contributes to multiple research collectives including 'Art in society', 'Art – Practice – Research', and 'Fashion.Textiles.Design', often facilitating international artistic dialogues through workshops and festival performances across Europe.
