Dr. HeeJung Jung is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at Imperial College London and currently serves as the EDI Director at McGill University on leave. She holds a PhD in Management from INSEAD. Her research focuses on social evaluations, diversity, and equality in corporate leadership, including entrepreneurial teams and top-tier executives. She emphasizes applying scientific methods to promote inclusivity for marginalized groups in corporate settings.
Dr. Jung’s work has been published in top-tier journals like the Academy of Management Journal and Organization Science, and featured in major media outlets such as Time Magazine, Forbes, and Capital.de. She teaches entrepreneurship and diversity-related courses to MSc, MBA, engineering, and medical students, earning an Excellent Teaching Award for Inclusive Teaching based on student votes. She also serves as a jury member in startup competitions like ShellLiveWire and QEC.
Her interdisciplinary research spans business management, marketing, and public health, reflecting her commitment to bridging organizational behavior with societal impact. Her recent work addresses topics like reproducibility in management science and the effects of occupational noise on healthcare workers.
