Hector L. Coll-Ruiz

Dr. Hector L. Coll-Ruiz is Assistant Professor in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Attending Psychiatrist at Montefiore Behavioral Health Center. His clinical focus includes public psychiatry and adult outpatient care. He teaches medical students in the Introduction to Clinical Medicine course and is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

His research interests center on public psychiatry systems and treatment approaches for adult psychiatric disorders. Dr. Coll-Ruiz completed medical training at University of Puerto Rico, residency at Montefiore, and a public psychiatry fellowship at Columbia University. He maintains full bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
