Hector Chinoy

Professor Hector Chinoy is a Professor of Rheumatology and Neuromuscular Disease at the University of Manchester, UK, and an Honorary Clinical Consultant at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust. His work focuses on genetic and environmental risk factors in inflammatory muscle diseases, particularly idiopathic inflammatory myopathy (IIM), with a 50:50 split between academic and clinical responsibilities.
