Heather Silber Mohamed is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Clark University. Her research focuses on Latino politics, immigrant socialization and participation, and identity politics, with emphasis on how race, class, and gender shape U.S. political dynamics. She is affiliated with the Center for Gender, Race, and Area Studies (CGRAS), Latin American and Latino Studies, and Women’s and Gender Studies programs.

Recent publications analyze racialized attitudes toward reproductive technologies and education policy during the pandemic. She previously served as a policy adviser on Capitol Hill for six years.
