Heather Curtis Grants is the Warren S. Woodbridge Professor of Religion at Tufts University, located in Medford, MA. She serves as Director of the Center for the Humanities and holds affiliations with the Departments of History and Studies in Race, Colonialism, and Diaspora. Her research focuses on how religion has shaped responses to racial injustice, humanitarian crises, and medical ethics in modern American history. She is an accomplished author, notably for her book Holy Humanitarians: American Evangelicals and Global Aid, which explores the intersections of faith, philanthropy, and social reform.
