Heather McMillan

Dr. Heather McMillan serves as Interim Chair and Associate Professor of Management at Southeast Missouri State University's Harrison College of Business and Computing. She holds a PhD in Management from University of Tennessee and brings 8 years of HR management experience from healthcare organizations.

Her research examines human resource management, work-life balance, and organizational ethics. Recent publications address academic promotion systems and program development in higher education, while earlier work established frameworks for work-life interface analysis.

She has presented at Academy of Management and Southern Management Association conferences. Awards include Outstanding Faculty Award from Mississippi College (2016) and Outstanding Teacher Award from University of Mississippi (2013).

As certified Professional in Human Resources (SHRM), she maintains professional involvement with Academy of Human Resource Development and Beta Gamma Sigma honor society.
