Heather M. Falconer is an Assistant Professor of Professional and Technical Writing in the Department of English at the University of Maine. Her work focuses on educational equity, disciplinary pedagogy, and the intersections of culture, identity, and writing practices. She holds a doctorate from Northeastern University, an MLitt from the University of Glasgow, and an MFA from Emerson College.
Her research explores neurodivergent students' experiences with academic writing, Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) initiatives, and systemic inequities in STEM education.
