Hazal Tatliadim is a Researcher affiliated with the Professorship for Pharmaceutical Immunology at ETH Zurich, Switzerland. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. under Prof. Dr. Cornelia Halin Winter, focusing on immunological mechanisms in lymphatic systems. Her work bridges pharmaceutical sciences and immunology, particularly investigating Treg cell migration and semaphorin3A’s role in immunity.
Education & Positions:
- Ph.D. Student (2020–present), Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, ETH Zurich
- M.Sc. Biology (2017–2020), Ludwig-Maximilian-University Munich
- B.Sc. Biology (2014–2017), Ludwig-Maximilian-University Munich
Research Focus: Hazal’s research explores the role of Semaphorin3A in regulatory T cell (Treg) migration within afferent lymphatic vessels and its implications for immunity. She has conducted studies on lymphatic endothelial cell dynamics, including adrenomedullin scavenging and leukocyte trafficking mechanisms.
Publications: Her work has been published in PLoS One and Cold Spring Harbor Perspectives in Medicine, emphasizing advancements in understanding lymphatic immune functions.
Labs & Collaborations: Based at ETH Zurich’s Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, she collaborates closely with Prof. Halin Winter and contributes to interdisciplinary projects on lymphatic biology.
