Dr. Hayleigh Bosher is a Reader in Intellectual Property Law at Brunel University London's College of Business, Arts and Social Sciences, affiliated with Brunel Law School. She joined Brunel in 2018 and holds a PhD in Copyright Law from Bournemouth University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Her research specializes in copyright law within creative industries, focusing on music, social media, and artificial intelligence. Key research areas include copyright policy, enforcement mechanisms, digital copyright challenges, creator rights protection, and the intersection of AI with intellectual property. Her work emphasizes balancing creator rights with accessible legal frameworks.
