معرفی
Hassan Mohamed is an Honorary Researcher at the University of Glasgow and a PhD student at the University of East Anglia (UEA), affiliated with the School of Environmental Sciences and Centre for Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences. His work bridges terrestrial and marine science to investigate pollution dynamics and ecosystem health across the UK's coastal waters.
His academic background includes:
- MSc in Sustainable Water Environments, University of Glasgow (2023)
- MSc in Civil Engineering, University of Nottingham (2017)
- BSc in Civil Engineering, University of Khartoum (2015)
Research focuses on fluvial ecosystem dynamics using hydrodynamic modelling, drone-based remote sensing, and field experiments. Key projects analyze 30 years of UK coastal pollution data to assess climate change impacts and evaluate river restoration effects through longitudinal tracer testing in the Lake District. His integrated catchment-to-coast approach aims to translate scientific findings into actionable water management policies.
As part of UEA's Centre for Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences, he collaborates in a multidisciplinary environment merging oceanography, atmospheric physics, and environmental engineering to address complex ecosystem challenges.
