Hassan Hussain is a Senior Lecturer in the Modern Languages department at the University of North Georgia. He specializes in Arabic and Persian languages, Middle Eastern history, historical linguistics, and multiculturalism in the Middle East. His research focuses on tribal populations' relationships with urban educational institutions in Mesopotamia and the Persian Gulf, particularly during the early modern period.
