Hasheem Hakeem

Hasheem Hakeem is an Assistant Professor of Instruction and Coordinator of Elementary French at Northwestern University's Department of French and Italian, part of the Weinberg College of Arts & Sciences. He holds a dual PhD in Education and French Studies from Simon Fraser University, focusing on queer literature and theory. His research emphasizes queer pedagogical approaches, discourse analysis, and minoritized instructor identity.
