Prof. Dr. Harun TÜRKMENLER is a full-time faculty member at the Department of Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at Adıyaman University. He holds a BSc (1993, Ankara University), MSc (1998, Gebze Yüksek Teknoloji Enstitüsü), and PhD (2005, Sakarya Üniversitesi). Before joining Adıyaman University in 2012, he worked as a control engineer at İSKİ (2006-2012). He was awarded the associate professor title in 2018. His primary research focuses on adsorption processes, wastewater treatment optimization, renewable energy from biomass, and environmental sustainability.
