Harald Werneck is an Assistant Professor and Director of Studies in the Department of Developmental and Educational Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology. His research focuses on adolescence, parent-child relationships, social exclusion, and family dynamics, contributing to UN Sustainable Development Goals. He has held leadership roles including Obmann of the Österreichische Gesellschaft für Interdisziplinäre Familienforschung (2015–2018) and Vice President of the International Academy of Family Psychology (2013–2017).
- External Positions: Government roles include membership in the Bundesministerium für Soziales, Gesundheit, Pflege und Konsumentenschutz (2024–2029).
- Over 110 publications since 2003, with recent work on maternal age, endometriosis impacts, sibling relationships, and modern fatherhood.
