Haoning Tang

Haoning Tang is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at UC Berkeley since March 2025,即将 join MIT in Spring 2026. She holds a B.Eng from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (2016), and M.S. (2018) and Ph.D. (2021) in Applied Physics from Harvard University. Her research focuses on nonlinear and quantum optical phenomena in metamaterials and quantum materials, utilizing advanced nanotechnologies like MEMS. Key research areas include nanophotonics, metamaterials, integrated photonics, and nanofabrication.
