Haokun Liu is a Lecturer in Operations & Supply Chain Management at the Faculty of Business and Law, Cardiff University. His research focuses on service innovation, value co-creation, and sustainability transitions in logistics and urban development. He has collaborated with businesses, governments, and institutions on projects such as the EU-funded STARS initiative (2018-2019) exploring shared mobility challenges and the ESRC-funded Pill regeneration projects (2022-2023) examining co-production models in housing. His work also extends to advanced air mobility (eVTOLs) and socio-technical transitions in the logistics sector. Liu holds a PhD in Business Management from Cardiff University (2021).

He has secured grants from Horizon 2020 and the Economic and Social Research Council for projects exploring shared mobility and urban regeneration. Current research priorities include advanced air mobility’s sustainability role and community-led innovation frameworks.
