Haojing Yan

Haojing Yan is a Professor in the Department of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Missouri-Columbia. His research focuses on galaxy formation and evolution, particularly galaxies in the early universe, mass assembly history of galaxies over cosmic time, and dust-embedded star formation processes. He is an active observational astronomer utilizing both ground-based and space-based telescopes.

He contributes to major surveys such as the Webb Medium-Deep Survey (WMDF), Hubble Infrared Pure Parallel Imaging Extragalactic Survey (HIPPIES), Great Observatories Origins Deep Survey (GOODS), Spitzer Extended Deep Survey (SEDS), and Cosmic Assembly Near-infrared Deep Extragalactic Legacy Survey (CANDELS).
