Prof. Dr. Hans Peter Hahn is a Professor of Social and Cultural Anthropology at Goethe University Frankfurt, affiliated with the Faculty of Social and Cultural Anthropology. His research focuses on material culture, museums, globalization, migration, and West African societies. He has conducted extensive fieldwork in Burkina Faso, Ghana, and Togo, examining topics such as consumption patterns, mobility, and the role of objects in cultural representation.
