Hans Frankort

Hans Frankort is a Professor of Strategy at Bayes Business School, City St George's, University of London. Currently on leave as a Visiting Professor at Imperial College London (2024-25), his research examines alliances, innovation, and employee effort dynamics.

Research explores R&D partnerships, knowledge flows, and the impact of competitive incentives on employee behavior, using econometric methods and large-scale datasets.

Publications include award-winning studies on alliance portfolios and innovation, with recent articles on work intensity and firm-level tournaments.

Awards: Robert J. Litschert Award, Distinguished Paper Award, and multiple teaching prizes. Editorial roles at top strategy journals.
