Hanne Warming is a Professor at the Department of Social Sciences and Business, Roskilde University. She leads the Social Changes and Dynamics research group and the LIMO research center, focusing on families in the welfare state. She serves as an advisory expert for national and international research projects.
Her research spans childhood/youth studies, social work, child/youth perspectives, and lived citizenship. She specializes in qualitative methods, particularly participatory and ethnographic approaches.
Recent projects include the Childism Institute, Children’s Green Transition Citizenship, and Strengthening Child Involvement in Family Justice. She received the Vanførefondens Forskerpris (2021) and has contributed to major debates on child rights and welfare policies.
