Hannah Sullivan

Professor Hannah Sullivan is an Associate Professor at New College, University of Oxford, within the Faculty of English Language & Literature. Her research focuses on literary language, revision processes, prosody, and the history of the book. She holds a first degree in Classics, which influences her interdisciplinary work.

Her major works include The Work of Revision (2013), which won the Rose Mary Crawshay Prize, and poetry collections Three Poems (2018) and Was It for This (2023). Her poetry has garnered awards such as the T.S. Eliot Prize and Costa Poetry Award shortlistings.
