Hannah Scott

Hannah Scott is a Researcher at Queen Mary University of London’s Wolfson Institute of Population Health, specifically within the Centre of Preventive Neurology. She currently holds the role of Research Assistant (Qualitative Research) and works on two key projects: the Digesting Science initiative, evaluating science communication impacts for children with parents affected by MS, and the Dystonia Impact project, developing outcome measures for childhood hyperkinetic movement disorders.

She recently submitted her PhD at King’s College London, focusing on integrating palliative care outcome scales into pediatric care. Prior to this, she worked for four years as a Research Assistant at King’s Cicely Saunders Institute on palliative care studies and served as Deputy Task Force Coordinator for improving LGBT+ palliative care.

Hannah holds a BA in Children, Young People and Families from York St. John University (2019) and an MSc in Social Policy and Social Research from University College London (2020). Her research interests include patient-centered outcome measurement, healthcare intervention evaluation, and engagement with vulnerable populations. She has contributed to both clinical and policy-oriented projects in palliative care and neurology.
