Hannah Park is an Associate Professor and Program Director of Visual Communication Design at the University of Kansas's School of Architecture & Design. Her work focuses on socially conscious, trans-disciplinary design, particularly in UI/UX, healthcare systems, and mental wellness. She has led community-engaged projects funded by organizations like Frost Bank, Make A Wish Foundation, and Audubon National Society.
Education: MDes from York University (2008) and BFA from Parsons School of Design (NYC). Her research explores design thinking education effectiveness, service design for mental health, and UI/UX in healthcare monitoring systems. Notable projects include 'Project Lemonaid' (SXSW EDU finalist, 2019) and presentations at AIGA, CAA, SXSW EDU, and TEDx.
Current research priorities include measuring design thinking's impact on interdisciplinary students, mental wellness service design, and EHR/healthcare UX innovation.
