Hannah O’Neal is an Associate Professor and Animation Coordinator at Montserrat College of Art. Specializing in 2D character animation and animation for games, she focuses on mission-driven and educational content creation. Her work emphasizes storytelling that evokes joy and understanding through lighthearted yet deeply meaningful narratives.
She actively mentors students in motion and storytelling techniques, blending curiosity-driven learning with practical application. Beyond academia, her interests in nature, science, and technology inform her creative process, reflected in her hobbies like camping, gardening, and gaming.
As part of Montserrat’s Animation faculty, she collaborates with colleagues such as Adjunct Faculty members Jason Kruse, Elizabeth Keene, and Professor Blyth Hazen to advance animation education.
