Hannah Maul-Newby is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Yale School of Medicine, affiliated with the Halene Lab in the Department of Medical Oncology and Hematology. She earned her PhD in 2023 from the University of California - Santa Cruz and holds a BS in Biochemistry from Gonzaga University (2013).
- Research Interests: Her work focuses on RNA splicing mechanisms in hematopoiesis, extracellular matrix dynamics in developmental biology, and molecular pathways in spliceosome disassembly. She also contributed to SARS-CoV-2 surveillance methodologies.
- Key Publications: Recent studies include transcriptome complexity in blood cell development (2024), C. elegans extracellular matrix analysis (2022), DHX15 spliceosome models (2022), and campus-wide pandemic response strategies (2021).
