Hannah Klein is a Researcher at the Institute of Political Science, Ruprecht-Karls-University Heidelberg, and a doctoral candidate at the Chair of Modern Political Theory. Her work focuses on the intersection of political and social theory, with particular emphasis on human-animal relationships, feminist theory, and posthumanist frameworks. She contributes to the DFG-funded project Between professional autonomy and state involvement: A genealogy of the relationship between democracy, governance, and political education in the history of the Federal Republic of Germany and previously participated in the Thematic Research Network Knowledge Validity. Her research explores the epistemological and ethical dimensions of animal-human interactions through a body-related theory of recognition.
