Dr. Hannah Dawson is a Reader in the History of Political Thought at King's College London's Department of History. Her research examines Enlightenment philosophy, feminist intellectual history, and theories of language/power, with focus on Locke, Wollstonecraft, and recognition conflicts.

Research: She investigates gender, race, and epistemic injustice in pre-modern thought, tracing how marginalized groups were rendered 'invisible' in philosophical frameworks. Current projects analyze Mary Wollstonecraft's rights theories and Locke's conceptions of liberty.
