Hannah Jonas

Prof. Hannah Jonas is a Professor of Design Typology at the Department of Urban Planning | Construction | Culture, University of Applied Sciences Potsdam since 2022. She holds a diploma in architecture from the Technical University of Berlin and has extensive professional experience with firms such as David Chipperfield Architects (Berlin/London/Milan) and Staab Architekten (Berlin). Her academic career includes roles as a research associate at HafenCity University Hamburg, lecturer at the School of Architecture Bremen and msa Münster, research coordinator at the University of Stuttgart's Institute for Public Buildings, and visiting professor at Wismar University of Applied Sciences.

Her research focuses on design typology, urban spatial structures, and the intersection of architecture with cultural and societal contexts. She combines practical architectural project experience with academic exploration of architectural typologies and public building design principles.
