Carsten Gerhards

Carsten Gerhards serves as Professor of Architectural Theory, Design Theory and Design within the Interior Design program at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences since 2010. Professor Gerhards' academic foundation includes architectural studies at RWTH Aachen, Bartlett School of Architecture London, and Düsseldorf Art Academy (1989-1995). Prior to academia, he contributed to significant architectural projects at David Chipperfield Architects in London and Berlin, notably the Museum Island Berlin master plan and new entrance building.
