Professor Kerstin Schultz is a faculty member at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, where she holds an endowed professorship in Interior Construction, Conversion, Color and Design since 2008. She serves as Head of the Study Program for Architecture and Interior Design and teaches courses including Colour and Space, Colour Theory I and II, Integral Finishing, Interior Design, and Design.

Her work bridges theoretical color concepts with practical architectural implementation, emphasizing the psychological and perceptual impacts of color in built environments.
Professor Schultz has published extensively on architectural color theory and construction techniques, with her most significant works including 'Farbe räumlich denken' (2018) and 'Leichte Räume' (2016), along with the comprehensive SCALE book series (2009-2015) covering various aspects of architectural design and construction. Her publications consistently address the relationship between color, space, and construction methodology.
