Hannah Cannon

Hannah Cannon is a Senior Lecturer in Nursing at the Faculty of Health, Education and Society, University of Northampton. She previously worked as an Adult nurse in London teaching hospitals, including roles in cardiology, cardiothoracic high dependency units, and phase 4 clinical trials for anti-hypertensive therapies. Her academic focus includes evidence-based clinical practice, simulation learning, and VR integration in nursing education.

She transitioned from acute clinical practice in ED trauma centers to academia, starting as an Associate Lecturer before advancing to Senior Lecturer. As Practice Lead for Nursing Associates, she bridges theoretical application with clinical practice. Her current research aligns with her Doctorate in Professional Practice, emphasizing practice development and educational innovation.
