Dr. Hannah Brasier is a Lecturer in the School of Media & Communication at RMIT University, specializing in digital media and environmental philosophy. Her research employs creative practices such as the Korsakow authoring software and smartphone filmmaking to explore ecologically conscious expanded nonfiction. Notably, her experimental short film Surface Levels, shot in Kinchega National Park, investigates damaged Australian environments through 'attuned noticing.'
Teaching: She teaches digital, experimental, and documentary screen production, including studios on ecologically conscious media and Impact Storytelling in RMIT's Master of Media program. Her pedagogical focus aligns with creative arts and communication curriculum development.
