Hannah Berkers

Hannah Berkers is a Lecturer and researcher at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS), affiliated with the Faculty of Business and Economics (FBE) and the Corporate Governance & Leadership department. Her research focuses on robotization in logistics warehouses, meaningful work design, and ethical employer responsibilities. She has contributed to peer-reviewed journals such as the International Journal of Human Resource Management and the Journal of Ethics. Notably, her work examines the duty of beneficence in employers' obligations to design meaningful work environments. She co-led the Van Goede Huize project, analyzing independent control functions in housing associations.

Berker's research spans organizational behavior, automation's impact on labor, and governance in social housing. She has presented at academic conferences and served as a reviewer for journals like the European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology.
